ection 2 - Hazards Identification
Classification of the substance or mixture
As a solid, manufactured article, exposure to hazardous ingredients is not expected in normal use. No health effects are
expected related to normal use of this product as sold. This battery is not classified as dangerous according to the GHS (The
Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals).
This product has passed the vibration test, pressure differential test and leakage test at 55℃ according to Recommendations
on the TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS Model Regulations SPESIAL PROVISION 238. It is not restricted to IATA
DGR according to special provision A67 and is not restricted to IMDG CODE according to special provision 238.
Additional Hazards:
Battery is considered as sealed non-spill-able one. Under normal operating conditions, the materials sealed inside should not
be hazardous to people’s health. But when these materials exposed during production or under case broken condition or being
extremely heated (fired), they may be hazardous to people’s health: skin contact with electrolyte causes severe skin burns and
eye damage.
See section 11 for more detailed information on health effects and symptoms.
Section 3 - Composition/Information on Ingredient
Substance □ Preparation □ Article □
Description: The battery is contained in a hermetically-sealed case(Outer shell), designed to withstand temperatures and
pressures encountered during normal use. So during normal use, hazardous materials are fully contained inside the battery.
